Listen in while they talk about the inspiration for his music suite Astrolabe, the French explorer La Perouse, and the inspiration for his newest work the French writer Albert Camus.

Chris Cody began his career as a classical pianist with diplomas from Sydney and London. His versatility led to his playing with some of Australia’s and Europe’s leading jazz musicians. His group Chris Cody Coalition has released several CDs to international acclaim and performed at numerous festivals in Europe and Australia. His latest project called The Outsider premiered at the SIMA Winter Jazz Festival.
