2MBS Fine Music Sydney has a commitment to supporting young Australian musicians.
Emergent Jazz is our pre-eminent emerging musician program, focusing on jazz musicians recently off or still on our jazz campuses, and part of our Emerging Musicians Program

To provide tangible support for young musicians, we have created As It Happened – Live At Founders. This is a new series of recordings-for-broadcast from the Fine Music Founders Studio. The sessions are essentially live performances. They are broadcast on Emergent Jazz, giving young musicians recognition and the beginnings of a show reel.

This Saturday 25th March at 7:00pm, you will hear Abby, Andrew and also Arty with a selection of originals and a few well known tunes. Drummer Abby Constable is joined by guitarist Arthur Washington and keyboardist Andrew Scott for a burst of innovative energy.
