Bonnie J Jensen is a jazz vocalist/songwriter/pianist and teacher who has travelled extensively as a performer.
She has produced five well-lauded albums that showcase a wide assortment of the finest Australian jazz talent including Alister Spence, Matt McMahon, Graham Jesse, Miroslav Bukovsky, Brett Hirst, Jonathan Zwartz, James Muller, Geoff Hughes, and Nicolas McBride.
Bonnie also enjoys writing and reviewing albums. Her last article ‘Sonata Form and its Relevance to Jazz’ was inspired by her belief that jazz would reach a far wider audience if more listeners understood its basic principles and underlying structures.
Bonnie shares her love of jazz in Jazz Radio Deluxe that is modern in conception but grounded in tradition with 2MBS listeners on Mondays at 7pm.
