Recorder virtuoso Alicia Crossley has launched her new album Bass Instincts. Featuring compositions written by some of Australia’s leading female composers, Bass Instincts explores the instinctual musicality, versatility and virtuosity of the bass recorder. Listeners will hear works that transport them to ancient cultures, immerse them in fantastical steampunk worlds, and pull at their heartstrings.
