For the first time since 2014, British violinist Daniel Hope returns to Australia for a recital tour with pianist Marie-Sophie Hauzel, inspired by his mentor Yehudi Menuhin.

For more than 35 years, Daniel Hope has been a leading presence on the international stage, known for his versatility, imaginative programming and distinctive artistry.

An exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist, he first came to prominence as the youngest member of the Beaux Arts Trio and has since built a career spanning over 400 chamber performances.

Performing on his 1742 “ex-Lipínski” Guarneri del Gesù, Daniel Hope brings together music of lyricism, colour and character, with works by EnescuFauré and Dvořák, alongside Mendelssohn and Elgar’s Violin Sonata.
