David came to Sydney more than 30 years ago as a senior executive for a major international company for whom he had worked in Europe and the USA. Having been passionate about classical music since his youth, he soon became a regular listener to 2MBS.
He first volunteered as a programmer for the station, then trained as a presenter and has been on air since 2003. With his business background, he soon became involved in marketing, fundraising and management. He has to date served three 4 year terms as a director, with 7 of those years as Chairman of the Board. Currently, he is a regular presenter of Fine Music Drive, Diversions in Fine Music, Concert Hall and various afternoon programs.
