The Metropolitan Orchestra return to the Verbrugghen Hall with a fiery start to winter with Flare. Led by Chief Conductor Sarah-Grace Williams, their 2nd Met concert for 2026 showcases the orchestra’s longtime support for Australian composers with a world premiere from Graeme Brown titled Endangered Species. Rimsky-Korsakov’s sparkling Spanish folk inspired Capriccio Espagnol plus Ravel’s exquisite Pavane for a Dead Princess deliver enough warmth to heat the hall before the concert blazes to a stunning finale with Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.
