Presented by UNESCO and the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz, the day will be filled with global concerts, cultural events, and inspiring educational programs, all celebrating the power of jazz to unite and uplift.
The main event? A spectacular all-star concert streaming live to audiences across the globe via UNTV, UNESCO, jazzday.com, and social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube.
To mark the occasion, 2MBS Fine Music Sydney is turning up the dial with a vibrant selection of jazz music celebrating the genre’s rich legacy and global reach. But the music doesn’t stop there, join us and Live Music Lane Cove at The Canopy in Lane Cove on Saturday, May 3rd, from 11am to 5pm, for a lively day of jazz busking, featuring incredible local talent and the enduring, soul-stirring spirit of jazz in all its forms!
