Last Dance is the second recording in a two-part series focussing on the musical properties of the ‘square’ piano, an instrument of great significance in Australia during its colonial days. Included are works by JCF Bach, Vanhal and Beethoven, contemporary pieces that explore its sound qualities by Ann Carr-Boyd, Kats-Chernin, J.
