Our CD of the Week as featured in Fine Music Breakfast is virtuosic violinist, composer and vocalist Véronique Serret’s new album Migrating Bird. The album released just after World Migratory Bird Day; a reflection of the way that nature has informed the entirety of her album.
On a sonic canvas of numerous field recordings, layers of violin are immersed in reverb, looped and delayed along with her distinct and minimal vocals. Featuring vocals, guitar and Didgeridoo from revered artist William Barton, the album was produced by Kim Moyes (The Presets).
