Liz Player is performing at The Church in Alexandria on Saturday 22 November. The Church is a restored 19th-century Gothic church in the Phoenix Central Park area. Liz Player is a Sydney-based jazz vocalist who has received acclaim for her performances on major stages and is the 2025 2MBS Fine Music Jazz Artist in Residence.
Liz Player is a rising-star Jazz vocalist and composer pushing the boundaries of musical creativity, technique and storytelling. Emerging from the vibrant musical scene of the Sydney Conservatorium, Liz has been mentored by Jazz greats such as Judy Bailey, Kevin Hunt and Craig Scott, honing a sound that evokes the masters of the past and the genre-pushing artists of today.
