
Serenading Italia invites you for an afternoon of free classical music celebrating Italy’s beautiful history and culture.
The Excelsia Chamber Orchestra is a local community string orchestra based at Excelsia College, Macquarie Park, under the leadership of conductor Dr. Sadaharu Muramatsu. The orchestra is dedicated to enriching the community through the power of music.
The chamber orchestra has meticulously prepared a captivating classical music program titled Serenading Italia, in honour of the rich history and beautiful culture of Italy. The will be playing classic pieces composed by Heinrich Biber, Giacomo Puccini, Ottorino Respighi and Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
The Excelsia Chamber Orchestra believes this type of beautiful classical music will resonate with many residents, especially the large Italian community in Sydney.
