The 2MBS Subscription Terms and Conditions outline your obligations and rights when you are a subscriber) of the 2MBS Fine Music Sydney subscription program (Subscription Program) provided by Music Broadcasting Society of New South Wales Co-operative Limited, ABN 64 379 540 010, trading as 2MBS Fine Music Sydney (we, our, us).

The Subscription Terms and Conditions do not cover any actions of third party providers we may engage to provide the Subscription Program. The Subscription Terms and Conditions are in addition to the rights and obligations under the Website Terms of Use you have agreed to in order to use our website, products and services.

What is the Subscription Program?

The Subscription Program is a program where we offer our Subscribers the following benefits: (a) early access to Fine Music Magazine online; (b) exclusive access to special offers and discounts from our arts partners; (c) exclusive opportunities to win prizes; (d) exclusive invitations to 2MBS Fine Music Sydney events, under the ‘Digital’ or ‘Digital + Print’ subscription options.

Changes to the Subscription Terms and Conditions

These Subscription Terms and Conditions will be updated as required. The latest version of the Subscription Terms and Conditions will be available on our website. You can check when the Subscription Terms and Conditions were last updated by referring to the “Last Updated” above.

By purchasing a subscription to the Subscription Program, you agree to be bound by the Website Terms of Use and these Subscription Terms and Conditions, and any future updates to the Subscription Terms and Conditions.

Payment and Renewal

We take reasonable steps to ensure your payment details are protected from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. All online payments are processed on our website using a secure connection. We collect and store your information in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

To facilitate automatic monthly subscription payments, we collect and store your payment card details on our payment gateway (Stripe). These details are securely collected and stored using Tokenization, a process by which the credit card number is replaced with a surrogate value called a token.

Payments are processed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include goods and services tax (GST) unless otherwise stated. We accept payment by card, cheque, money order only and electronic funds transfer (EFT). Online payments are processed securely on our website using Stripe. Please visit their website to view their terms and conditions.

Subscriptions are available on annual and monthly pay-as-you-go terms. Annual subscriptions are valid for 12 months and become active on the date of registration. The original subscription expiry date is carried over for renewal subscriptions. Monthly pay-as-you-go subscriptions will be billed every month, on the date of registration. To stop these automatic payments, please send us a cancellation request in writing, either by letter, email or online contact us form submission.

Subscription renewal reminders for annual subscriptions will be sent, by email or in the mail, one month prior to the subscription expiry date. We do not send subscription renewal reminders for monthly subscriptions.

Refunds, Transfers and Cancellations

Subscription payments are non-refundable; unless there has been an error in processing the payment (e.g. you are overcharged).

We may, at our discretion, transfer an active subscription to another person if requested in writing, either by letter, email or online contact us form submission. If a request does not contain new payment details for subscription payments to be billed to a new account, we will continue to bill all subscription payments to the original payment details provided with the subscription.

Please note, for our records, we require cancellation requests in writing, either by letter, email or the online contact us form submission. We aim to action any cancellation requests within [5] business days of receiving a cancellation request. The subscription will remain active until the end of the current subscription billing period.

Magazine Delivery

The print edition of Fine Music Magazine is delivered through Australia Post. If for some reason you do not receive your print edition, please contact us and we will re-issue you another one. Subsequent re-issue requests will be charged at the current postage rate, unless the reason for the re-issue request is our fault.

Friends Offers and Loyalty Card

Subscribers are entitled to a number of benefits including access to offers and discounts through our Friends Offers. This card is only valid to Subscribers with an active subscription. We request that you destroy the card upon expiry of your subscription.
