The Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra opens its 2026 season with a stirring afternoon of orchestral masterworks.

The program features Handel’s jubilant Music for the Royal Fireworks, written to celebrate the end of the War of the Austrian Succession; Mozart’s dramatic Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor, performed by acclaimed Australian pianist Vatche Jambazian (pictured); and Mahler’s powerful Symphony No. 1, ‘The Titan’.

From Baroque brilliance to Classical intensity and sweeping Romantic grandeur, this concert showcases the full colour and strength of the orchestra under chief conductor and artistic director Paul Terracini.
