The Live Music Zone is an initiative of musician Paul Bennett working with the Lane Cove Council to encourage and promote Live music of all kinds in the Lane Cove area.

Echoing the words of the great Louis Armstrong, “Music is Life”, the aim of this project is to create a dedicated space in the Lane Cove Canopy where all musicians (including the young) can perform, learn and display their talents for the enjoyment of all, free of charge. If you are a musician, then get on board and visit The Live Music Zone to book Paul for gigs. Music is Life!

About Paul Bennett:

Paul has been playing his grandfather’s Roth 1925 violin since the age of eleven through every genre, classical, blues, folk, Gypsy and cool jazz and now embarks on a new musical direction as an exciting solo violinist and vocalist, pushing the boundaries in his home suburb of Lane Cove. Paul was a founding member of the folk blues fusion band The Road Captains for the past ten years, where he honed his skills as an accomplished instrumentalist. Cool jazz is his genre now with an extensive repertoire of classic jazz standards, played with sensitivity and style.
