This Easter, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs’ 140-voice Symphony Chorus, Sydney Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and conductor Brett Weymark bring you the St John Passion – Bach’s vivid and dramatic telling of the Easter story. Acclaimed tenor Alexander Lewis (Samson 2023, Carols at the House 2025) leads a star cast as the Evangelist.
It might have been written for the church but this music has a theatrical power that feels utterly real and immediate. Be there at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall for this extraordinary musical feast.
One matinee performance only.
