2MBS Fine Music Sydney is thrilled to announce Elijah Baker (trombone) as the winner of the 2025 Young Virtuoso Award, proudly supported by the Family Frank Foundation.
Elijah receives $3,000, a performance opportunity with the North Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and will represent 2MBS Fine Music Sydney at the National Fine Music Award in Adelaide.
Runner-up honours go to violinist Sharon Zhao, receiving $1,000, generously supported by the Family Frank Foundation.
The Adjudicator Award is presented to trumpeter Gabriel Baker, who receives $500, also supported by the Family Frank Foundation.
