Camille joined 2MBS Fine Music in 2008 as a volunteer receptionist, but soon found herself behind the microphone presenting a variety of programs and voicing promos.
She still very much enjoys the programming and presenting…”so many delights and surprises and always so much to learn, not just about the music but also from the wonderful group of people that make up 2MBS”. Her specialty area is Opera, but she confesses to having very eclectic taste in music and when programming tries to be mindful of the time of day that a piece may be played.
Camille has always taken an active part in supporting and encouraging young musicians and singers through her long association with the IFAC HANDA Australian Singing Competition, the Sydney Eisteddfod and of course, the 2MBS Fine Music Young Virtuoso Program.
As a classical singer herself, she continues to perform in recital and concert in Australia and New Zealand, and particularly enjoys exploring the repertoire for chamber ensemble and voice.
