The Young Composer Award, Australia’s only award of its kind, proudly presented by Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and managed by Willoughby City Council, will unveil its 2025 winning composition in a highly anticipated world premiere on Sunday 4 May.

Andrei Hadap is a pianist, composer, teacher and scholar based in Sydney. He holds a Bachelor of Music with First-Class Honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where he studied under Stephanie McCallum and Erin Helyard.

Australian/Canadian vocalist Tiana Young (she/her) is a highly versatile artist and performer with a love for Jazz and Musical Theatre, and a background in Classical vocal training. Tiana sings in eight languages and a variety of styles, and is based on Gadigal land.
