For our second showcase of 2024 we welcomed pianist Kanon Ito and violinist Jennifer Li to open the program. Followed by cellist Vladimir Shvedov and pianist Elen Rapoport before a live performance from our Artists in Residence Outback Brass at the Baillie Church in Annandale.
Closing out the broadcast is the Andrew Dickeson Trio consisting of Andrew Dickeson, Peter Locke and Jacob Graham.

For our first Fine Music Showcase program for 2024 we welcome four varied performers. Alto Flute, Saxophone, Flute and Piano duo of Graham Jesse and Michael Bartolomei perform four of their own compositions. Clarinetist Justin Wang with accompanist Theresa Leung perform works by Mozart and Schumann. Isobel Archer presents Bach’s Toccata in D Minor and The Fabulous Baker Boys complete the program with works by Gregson, Peskin & Weber accompanied by Julia Brimo and a performance of a Brass Trio by J C Bach.
All performances were recorded in the 2MBS Fine Music Sydney Founders’ Studio by Jayson McBride.

2MBS Fine Music Sydney’s final Showcase of the 2023 delivers a spectacular batch of performers. The line-up includes Alexander Yau (piano), Jazz pianist Kevin Hunt who has additional performances with The Barayagal Choir and Maria Lopes (vocals) separately. Sydney based duo Maria Lindsay (violin) and Josephine Allan (piano) round up the showcase with a flourish.

Fine Music Showcase returns this with three superb performances captured in our Founders’ Studio.
~ Opening the program is a solo recital by pianist John Martin, performing pieces by Australian composers Ann Carr-Boyd, Ross Edwards and his own composition The Everglades at Dawn.
~ Following on are the duo of cellist Rachel Siu and pianist Alexander Yau, performing two works by Chopin.
~ Closing out this broadcast are, 2MBS Artists in Residence, Nomad String Quartet performing arrangements of works by Mozart and Hisaishi alongside Scandinavian traditional pieces.
