Yuletide is a time of nostalgia, of celebration, of Christmas songs, and of lazing out after a gentle Christmas Day lunch. FineJazz on 2MBS Fine Music Sydney brings you Yuletide Jazz from noon on Christmas Day, with four of our presenters giving you a special musical treat. 

Each Friday, Barry O’Sullivan invites a studio guest onto Friday’s A Jazz Hour at noon, this week (16th Dec) welcomes Australian classical and jazz composer and pianist, Mark Isaacs.

This excitingly cool trio has delivered a recording that embraces and experiments with a plethora of instrument sounds, samples, textures, and grooves in a pleasingly unhurried way.

If it were possible to inhale the music of this contemporary jazz album certainly one would be transported into a state of sonic euphoria.

An accomplished vocalist and songwriter, Rebekka Neville has created a recording evoking memories of much-loved past jazz performances by Vince Jones that have blended with memories of the enjoyment of being in natural outdoor surroundings.
